The Malawi Police has acquired anti-rioting truck to boost security in the country, 2 years after they received 10 minibuses, 60 pickups, 15 saloon and 10 wagons, from the People’s Republic of China.

The IAG Armored Water Cannon anti-riot vehicle is an excellent solution for riot control, firefighting and for preserving peace and order. The development follows after the country has faced tension following pre/post election, which has seen protests which has negatively affected the economy.

The vehicle features a water spray system to protect the roof, cabin sides, tire shield and under body from various burning objects, Molotov cocktail or other dangerous liquids and gases. The vehicle body is fully armored to defeat multiple hits from high power rifles and light machine guns. Key components such as the engine bay and fuel tank are also protected with armor enclosures.
