Figures from the World Trade Organization (WTO) have shown a 153% growth in Malawi’s export services. The figures show that services worth K114.4 billion were exported in 2018, as compared to K45.6 billion in 2014.
On the other hand, services imports grew by 113% in the same period. Recent figures from the World Integrated Trade Solution show that Malawi services export is 135,759,690.89 in BoP, current US$ and services import is 322,829,355.36 in Bop, current US$.Malawi exports of goods and services as a percentage of GDP is 29.16% and imports of goods and services as a percentage of GDP is 36.17%.
