Mybucks Banking Cooperation Director, Zandile Shaba has outlined that the ban is closely working with Small and Medium Enterprises aimed at impacting the society.
Through the bank’s services and products, SMEs businesses have grown as the enterprises have acknowledged the bank’s contribution towards their success. “It is pleasing to realise that as a bank, we are making positive strides towards attaining one of our strategic intent encapsulated in our vision of becoming the best bank in Malawi in terms of social impact,” said the MD.
The gratitude from SMEs comes amidst the coronavirus pandemic which has affected their businesses and the general economy. In June this year, the National Small and Medium Enterprises (Nasme) proposed a K5 billion bail-out package for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) as a cushion against the impacts of the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. It is remarkable and considerate of Mybucks Banking Corporation to support the SMEs especially through such times.
