National Bank of Malawi presented best student awards and scholarships at the Mzuzu University valued at K7.6 million, AS the CEO of National Bank, Mr Mcfussy Kawawa condemned the students for their recent protests.

Each award winner was given a cash prize of 400,000 as the bank’s staff handed over the awards as the University’s staff also watched. In June this year, NBM also supported the education sector by donating 152 desks worth K6 million to Nkhotakota Secondary School, a development that the bank’s chief executive officer has attributed to being a Corporate Social Responsibility.

“We are proud to make this donation to schools and we will continue supporting the education sector with various activities for national development,” said the CEO of NBM, MacFussy Kawawa.
