750 metres before Kasungu main town, an Energem Filling Station has been launched. The Filling station is on the left hand side, coming from Lilongwe before Kasungu main town and is a commendable stop for travelers and families.
According to the station’s Managing Director, Danie Vosloo, the station sells petrol, diesel (available in wholesale) and castrol lubricants. “The filling station is suitable for families as they can stop for drinks and snacks. There also are 4 restrooms, a shower and a washroom.” He also added that the facility is spacious with a grass area, so young ones can play around or rest while the car is filling up.
With a solar panel backup power, the station is 100% electrified. Having launched on 27th September, the response from the community has been positive. “Customers have been streaming in and sales have been increasing by the day. Our Dealer is currently planning for discounts and vouchers, to benefit the Kasungu residents and travelers”
The filling station boasts of spacious parking space, safe entrance and access to the road. Standing between Mzuzu and Lilongwe, the station is ready to serve residents and passing travelers. According to the MD, the station will, in the near future, have a shop and a liquor shop.
