Barbecued food, soft drinks, live music and more; Nissan Malawi treated its customers last Saturday at the Open Day, organized to appreciate and interact with customers in a relaxed setting. “We want to interact with our customers on an informal note; getting to know our customers as they also get to know more about us” said the Sales and Marketing Manager, Janeen Abobelera.
While children enjoyed the jumping castle, the trampoline and face painting, test drives were open for the Nissan Y62, Nissan NP 300, Navara and the X-Trail, with special deals offered on the day as the Managing Director of Nissan Malawi, Greg Hubbard, socialised with various customers. “We’d like to thank all our current and potential customers that are here with us today, enjoy yourselves” he said, in his opening remarks. Admiring the cars on promotion, interested buyers were given information on the cars they liked.
The Open Day is the first of its kind, as Nissan Malawi wants to maintain this special day. “We hope to have an Open Day every 3 months, either in Blantyre or Lilongwe” said Abobeleira. Music was played by Mingoli Band as customers interacted and ate with Nissan Malawi staff, while prizes were won in a game that the customers participated in. Catering for adults and children alike, the Open Day was a Saturday well spent.
