Press Corporation Limited (PCL) group chief executive officer George Partridge has said the coronavirus pandemic has a negative effect on the conglomerate’s companies.
Speaking to Business News, Patridge outlined that demand is low as most things are in a lockdown and supply chains have been gravely disrupted. “This has ultimately affected demand for our products and cost elements because we have to manage this within our companies,” he said.
A financial statement that was released earlier this year by the conglomerate’s board chairman, outlined that the outlook for 2020, the company is uncertain as the economy is amidst the blows of the coronavirus pandemic. “Management is closely monitoring the pandemic and taking all necessary precautionary and mitigation measures.” said the statement.
