The Ministry of Education has inspected colleges to check if the prevention measures applied therein are strict enough to ensure the safety of staff and students, as the ministry has deemed the colleges below, ready to reopen;
Kamuzu College of Nursing, College of Medicine, Chancellor College and The Polytechnic.
After 6 months closure due to the coronavirus pandemic, the schools (primary and secondary) reopened last week Monday on 7 September. Government primary and secondary schools which have reopened national examination classes and have been supplied with protective materials such as chlorine and hand-washing facilities while private schools will provide for their own materials
The reopening is initially for examination classes in primary and secondary schools and final-year students in colleges and universities.
