Following post election unrest, the Malawi Confederation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (MCCCI) postponed the Malawi International Trade Fair after five countries pulled out. In a statement, MCCCI announced that the Trade Fair would be postponed to August and finally the dates have been announced.
“Kindly be rewarded that the 31st Malawi International Trade Fair will be held from the 6th to the 15th August 2019” says a notice by MCCCI. The notice also adds that there will be a networking dinner on the 6th of August at Sunbird Mount Soche from 6:30pm. Interested Participants are urged to contact Pamela on on 0999 619 462 or email [email protected].
Indonesia, Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia and China had pulled out of the fair after noting that Malawi is amidst rejection towards the results of the 21 May Tripartite Elections, as the leading opposition parties have been marching against the presidential results.
