In December 2019, Premier Projects, the charity division of Premier Loto and Premier Bet, announced that the firm would rebuild the volleyball court at the Blantyre Youth Centre. Months further, the new volleyball court was open in the presence of Mr.Oliver Nakoma who is the Chairman of Malawi National Council of Sports Board, and Mr.Jameson Ndalama who is Director of Sports in the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture.
The exciting development was also announced in the presence of representatives of the Volleyball Association and local residents, who were grateful to the fulfilled promise by Premier Loto. The Operations Manager of Premier Bet and Premier Loto, Milos Jovanovic outlined that the new court would play a crucial role in the development of volleyball in the region. “We hope to see future stars of Malawian sports practising on this court.” said Jovanovic.
The new court is courtesy of Premier Projects, which is the charity division of Premier Bet and Premier Loto. Premier Projects is currently working on similar developments across Malawi; during the new volleyball court’s launch, it was hinted that a similar development in Lilongwe is up next.
