Press Trust has donated K54 million worth of furniture to Phalombe Teachers Training College, namely 270 beds, 300 mattresses, 300 desks and 300 chairs, all items that the institution was in dire need of.

Official from Press Trust Radson Mwadiwa said the donation was the first of many, saying that his firm will continue to invest in the education sector.

The handover ceremony was graced by the Director of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Misheck Munthali, commended Press Trust for the generous and kind gesture, while students at the college were lost for words as problems faced due to lack of the items, is now a thing of the past.
