In an effort to increase revenue and meet the growing demand for products, Rainbow paints has revealed the construction of a new factory in Lilongwe. Rainbow Paints Commercial Manager Brunos Silas said that the current factory produces 2,000 litres of paint per month, which is an amount that is lesser than the demand on the market.
“We thought it wise to set up a bigger factory to enable us to double production to meet the growing demand” said Silos, who was speaking at a training workshop in Mzuzu. The workshop that was aimed at equipping users with the knowledge on how to use different paint products to achieve good results and to get feedback.
Rainbow paints has continuously developed innovative products since 1990. In 2010, the company embraced a new way of doing business where it underwent rebranding and repositioned itself as the leading paint manufacturer in Malawi. Rainbow Paints is subsidiary of Globe Group Limited, a multi-sector conglomerate with major stakes in the manufacturing and service sector.
