Following the Constitutional Court on the electoral case on 3 February, all AIMS (Associated International Malawi Schools) have resolved to close on the day.

The schools under AIMS are Hillview, BMIS, SAINTS, SAIPS, Phoenix and Sir Harry Johnston, which will further discuss with parents and guardians under a Key Stage 1 Parent Consultations for Tuesday and Wednesday (4 and 5 February). “We will monitor the situation carefully on Monday and the School will continue to communicate with parents regarding any possible changes if necessary” says part of a notice signed by the Head Teacher of Hillview International School, Mrs Charmaine Bramsen.

On the other hand, other schools have also made the resolve to close on the day, for instance Joyce Banda Foundation.
