Only registered businesses are eligible for government matching grants, exports licenses, access to finance and opening a business bank account at commercial banks. Hence the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute (Smedi) has urged Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to register their businesses with government inorder to benefit.
