Southern Regional Water Board (SWRB) has launched a 5 year strategic plan that is aimed at addressing challenges and responding to emerging issues such as population growth and environmental degradation.

SWRB Chairperson Luther Mambala said that the plan includes ensuring that the board is accountable. During the launch of the plan, the chief director for the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Water Development challenged SWRB to be professional in order to achieve the strategy.
