During Standard Bank’s Annual General Meeting, the banks announced the appointment of Ngeyi Ruth Kanyongolo as its board chairperson, taking over from Rex Harawa who retired as a director.

A follow up statement signed by Company Secretary, Norah Nsanja, outlined that Kanyongolo’s record shows that she  served as a member of the bank’s Board Credit Committee, the Board Risk Committee, the Board Human Capital Committee and Board Technology and Information Committee.
