The 13th African Banking Awards have recognized Standard Bank Malawi as the best bank in the country.

The award is based on assessing which banks in the country were able to withstand the effects of Covid-19 and still come up with impressive initiatives that have supported customers and communities to push for realise their dreams.

“Standard Bank accepts this recognition with gratitude because it demonstrates the commitment our people must achieve our purpose of driving Malawi’s growth.” said Standard Bank Chief Executive, William le Roux. He also emphasized that besides the pandemic, Standard Bank remains resilient and optimistic through its services and products to ensure that customers and communities are still able to realise their hopes and dreams and to achieve their goals of life.
