An international standard bus terminal is in the works in Lilongwe, courtesy of the China Lilongwe Grand Holding Corporation Limited.
The firm’s General Manager Gaoqiang Wu said the project has a lot of business and employment opportunities. His firm, which is already working on the grand business park project, is expected to create 15,000 jobs in the next five years if given what he calls ‘a conducive business environment’, of which the capital city’s Mayor pledged support.
His worship Desmond Bikoko commended the development as important for the capital city. Giaoqiang Wuremarked that the Grand Business Park would be one of the biggest business parks in the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) region.
