The Rotary Club of Allschwil-Regio Basel, Switzerland, donated over K36 million worth of covid-19 equipment to  Malamulo Hospital and Thyolo district.

The donation, made in partnership with local rotary clubs, saw the donation of Personal Protective Equipment including oxygen concentrators and medication for respiratory infections and breathing aid equipment.

The Malawian Rotary Clubs were grateful for the generous donation, stating that the donation was attributed to the clubs objective of service above self, “We say thank you to our fellow Rotarians in Switzerland (through our friend Urs Herzog) for their generosity.” says a Whatsapp circular.
