The waste clinic has put together an awareness campaign aimed at alerting the masses on the problems of waste management. In a circulating poster made available on social media, the clinic has outlined how people can be involved in the campaign. The circular reads, “All you have to do is to take a picture of any improper dump sites and send it to the numbers on the poster, (0994447441/0882344082) and add the location.” The pictures will then be shared on the clinic’s Instagram Page (@THE_WASTE_CLINIC.

From dump sites in the markets, waste piled up on the side of the roads, sewage being poured in rivers, people are being urged to take pictures of such sites to help raise the awareness.

The statement captioning the poster reads “Let us take a stand to make a difference. Let us save Malawi from drowning in waste, let us make waste manage an issue, let us CLEAN UP MALAWI.”
