With Inde Bank being acquired by National Bank in April 2016, more than 5 banks are still operating in Malawi, not including New Finance Bank (NFB). “This bank is different because it serves to transform people’s lives” says NFB’s marketing officer, Hillary Ngwira. In this goal to transform people’s lives, NFB expanses its services by launching a branch in Mponela, Dowa.

“We felt it necessary to make our services reachable to everyone” Ngwira continues, “Our service provision will not be limited to Mzuzu, Lilongwe and Blantyre alone”

The Mponela branch, located along M1 road, promises excellence, serving with 3 Tellers and one ATM machine.

NFB was officially launched in January 2015 and is planning to be grow beyond Mzuzu, Lilongwe and Blantyre. “Be on the lookout for further expansion” promises the marketing officer, “We are working to be accessed in all corners of the country”
