The Malawi Netball National Team, also known as the Queens, have received K360 million sponsorship from FDH Bank as Deputy Managing Director at FDH Bank, William Mpinganjira, revealed the news.

“We are unveiling the K360 million sponsorship to the queens.” said Mpinganjira, to the excited officials of the national team and the Netball Association of Malawi. “This sponsorship will be split into 3 parts; 300 million will go direct to sponsoring the national team, 45 million will go towards funding the netball cup, while K15 million will be used by NAM, for their administration.”

Nearing the festive season last year, FDH bank renewed of a prior sponsorship towards the Football Association of Malawi. Fam President Walter Nyamilandu had excitement written all over his face as he signed the documentation concerning the agreement, which was a surprise considering that FDH not only renewed its partnership, but doubled it as well. FDH sponsored K30m per year during the 2016 agreement, now the bank will give K60m per year, for 3 years.
