TNM plc has announced the appointment of Michiel Buitelaar as the new Chief Executive Officer.

Having experience in high positions in telecom companies such as T-Mobile, Orange, Smile and AT&T, the new CEO has left his mark in various countries including Belgium, The Czech Republic, Spain, France, Indonesia and Nigeria.

The new CEO proves to be the right choice for TNM, his record shows that he was an executive member at media companies Endemol and Sanoma, where his responsibilities were online media and e-commerce and a group-wide digital transformation of television, magazines and newspapers.

In a released statement, the new CEO’s appointment has been confirmed by TNM Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. George Partridge. Prior to this development, Eric Valentine had been the acting Chief Executive Officer sinceSeptember 2017.
