The Ministry of Information and Communications Technology has commended TNM for contributing to the country’s socioeconomic development through internet usage, which on that matter, high cost of internet data was discussed.

TNM Chief Executive Officer Eric Valentine said in order for service providers to establish affordable Internet, there should be a collaboration between the service providers and the government to have a digital economy.

Minister Henry Mussa toured the company as his office has on a task to visit various communication and technology firms, hearing about their constraints. This was also an opportunity to discuss various matters, especially network coverage, which the Minister appealed for its expansion.
