In November 2018, Area 6 Total in Lilongwe announced a ground breaking development and the first of its kind; the filling station was operating on solarized power.

6 months later, the energy giant has announced that Kristwick Service Station in Blantyre has also been solarized. A brief statement that has been released has attributed the development as Total’s commitment to supplying better, cleaner and sustainable energy.
