In response to flood victims, Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development has released K1.3 billion to the Department of Disaster Management Affairs (Dodma).

Dodma Secretary and Commissioner Wilson Moleni confirmed the development, noting that the funds will be able to reach out to affected families.

Dodma had reported that it will need K12bn for relief and rehabilitation of damage caused by the floods in 17 districts.
