Ulendo Airlink treated the media and travel agents to a test-flight from Blantyre to Lilongwe and back, as a peak of the newly announced route.
Barely three months after launching its Lilongwe-Mzuzu – Likoma Island route, Ulendo Airlink has announced that it is extending its services to Blantyre. According to a statement by Ulendo Airlink Chief Executive Officer, Rob McConaghy, the service will launch on 23 September 2019, aimed to address the evolving travel needs in Malawi.
Ulendo Airlink Sales Consultant, Mwawi Gondwe Chirwa, also added that the company decided to start the Blantyre to Lilongwe route after seeing a need. “We have started, and we will be flying to Blantyre nine times a week and from next month we will be having 14 flights a week,” Gondwe Chirwa said.
