The United States Agency for International Development will host a workshop for export businesses, courtesy of the Malawi Conferderation of Chambers of Commerce (MCCCI).
MCCCI has confirmed that the training is slated for January 23 in Blantyre. The training will focus on new requirements on US government’s food and drug administration. Since Malawi will be exporting items of the said categories.
Malawi has been exporting apparel to the USA through the African Growth and Opportunity Act (Agoa) and the organized seminar is for food manufacturing companies that wish to export there too. Upon following the requirements by the USA, Malawi will profit immensely from the exports.
