The Minister of Public Sector Reforms and Vice President  Saulos Chilima will embark on a nationwide inspection tour of some major public projects in the Northern, Eastern and Southern regions of the country, starting today.

The above follows the announcement by Chilima’s office to review progress made by the government’s ministries, departments and agencies. A Schedule of the Veep’s tour, according to The Nation newspaper, says the visits start this afternoon with an inspection of Jenda-Edingeni-Engalaweni-Manyamula Road in Mzimba before visiting the construction site of Mzimba District Commissioner’s offices.

 Chilima’s press officer Pilirani Phiri said during the tour, the VP will weigh which projects should be prioritised and the ones that need immediate funding for completion.
