A notice by COMESA Competition Commission has announced the recall of Liqui Fruit Red Grape 300ml cans. According to the notice signed by the commission’s Chief Executive Officer, George K Lipimile, the recall follows reports of small shards of glass in a batch of the product ‘Liqui Fruit Red Grape’ which is contained in 300ml cans.

Meanwhile, Pioneer Foods is conducting an investigation on the root cause and extent of the issue, while calling back every  300ml canned Liqui Fruit Red Grape as a safety measure.
