WEALTH CREATION CONFERENCE TIPS ENTREPRENEURS – Malawi News

During a Wealth Creation and Personal Finance Conference hosted by Sycamore Consult in Blantyre, local entrepreneurs have been challenged to be decisive and constantly explore new avenues if they are to significantly transform and grow their businesses.

Speaking at the conference were names like Countrywide Car Hire Managing Director, Mike Mlombwa, Chairperson of Mpatsa Holdings, Jimmy Korea Mpatsa, seasoned entrepreneur Simon Itaye and Chief Executive Officer of FDH Financial Holdings, Thom Mpinganjira.

Proprietor of Ntalimanja Holdings, Napoleon Dzombe, who was guest of honour at the event, said entrepreneurs must be faithful and honest to be successful. “If you start a business, you must have a vision and when that is in place you must plan, work hard, have courage, be honest and be trustworthy.”

“I, for one, do not need to have money all the time to procure what I need for my business because other businesses trust me. When I need materials, I just ask companies to give me and pay them later,” Dzombe said.

Sycamore Consult Chief Executive Officer, Audrey Mwala, said that if one has a positive, strategic and open mind and takes responsibility of their success or failures they are poised to succeed. “It starts with an idea and then the courage to keep on moving with the idea,” Mwala said.
