Zake “Malawian Monster” won the John O’Groats Strongest Man Competition, held in Caithness, Scotland.
Muluzi won first place, followed by Orkney’s Calum Elder into second place over seven tests of strength.
“I’m over the moon,” he said, “It was a good run-out. You never know what will happen but I was confident in my own abilities. It was a fun competition and a good turnout as well. It’s a very nice setting and good scenery”.
Muluzi was declared winner upon succeeding seven tests of strength which included a Farmer’s Walk with a 120kg in each hand, squat lift, monster dumbbell lift and axle deadlift.
The event was free but donations were made to the Macmillan Cancer Support.
